The journey home begins with Jesus. Start here.
A disciple must connect with Jesus in a growing, personal, and vibrant relationship. Jesus called the first disciples to this kind of relationship, and He extends that same call to all who would be His disciples today.
Experience: Spiritual Growth and Transformation
As we abide in Christ, we become all we are meant to be. Through Him, we are able to grow and produce fruit.
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. – John 15:4-5 (ESV)
It is also this connection to Christ that transforms us to be more like Him. As we draw near to Christ and see His glory, we are changed and transformed into His image.
And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. – 2 Corinthians 3:18 (ESV)
Expression: Personal and Corporate Worship
Because we strive to become like Jesus, it is vital that we spend time in His presence as we worship. We grow in Christ individually through personal devotion. We grow in Christ collectively through corporate worship.
Join us for corporate worship on Sundays at 9:30, or 11:00 a.m.
