Children's Ministry

We are dedicated to teaching children the truth of God's word and helping parents lay a strong biblical foundation in the home. It is our desire to partner with parents in leading children to the knowledge of salvation through Jesus Christ.

First Steps Class

Classes offered routinely throughout the year
Ages 6 and up

Has your child expressed an interest in having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ? Our West Park staff wants to help your child with this life-changing decision and with his or her first steps into spiritual maturity.

The First Steps class teaches children ages six and older about the significance and meaning of baptism and the Lord's Supper. Our staff is available to speak with parents and children regarding salvation. If your child has already been baptized and you would like for him/her to have a better understanding of their Christian walk, they can attend a First Steps class.

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is an exciting week for school-aged children! Kids eagerly participate in a variety of activities, games, crafts, and snacks all related to the year's VBS theme. Children also learn important life skills as they are taught to use the truth of God's Word in everyday situations. Nursery and pre-school programs are available for children of VBS volunteers during this week.
