CHILDREN'S MINISTRY: Security Procedures

We are so glad that you are interested in our children’s ministry at West Park Baptist Church. Safety is an important priority to us. When you bring your child to Children's Ministry you will receive security cards. We ask each parent to sign the back of both cards for signature verification. Please keep this card with you at all times. There will be a $1.00 charge for each misplaced card. If your card is misplaced the teacher or worker cannot release your child until approved by the department director or coordinator, however; it is your responsibility to locate the proper person. Your family’s number will remain the same throughout your child(ren)’s years in the West Park’s Children’s Ministry

Pick-Up Procedure:

Arrival: When you bring your child to the classroom, please sign his/her name on the sign-in sheet along with where you can be reached each hour. This procedure needs to be followed for each service including Sunday night, Wednesday night and any special service. Then write the child’s name and the family security number on the nametag provided.

Departure: When you arrive to pick up your child, please show the back to the teacher. This will be in effect for all services as well.

Gates have been installed in each classroom for your child’s protection. Please remain outside the gate while picking up and dropping off your child.

Thank you for complying with our guidelines of protection for your children. Safety is a high priority at West Park and with everyone’s help we can make this security system work to provide a safe and secure environment for our children.
