Answering "yes" to any of the following questions may suggest that you could benefit from making an appointment to see a counselor.

1. Have you recently been thinking about seeing a counselor concerning a specific issue?
   
   
2. Is there a problem in your life that you are unable to resolve?
   
   
3. Are you experiencing a situation that is robbing you of your joy and/or peace.
   
   
4. Has anyone suggested that you may need to talk with a counselor?
   
   
5. Has your spiritual growth halted but you don't know why?
   
   
6. Do you need an objective perspective regarding your relationships?
   
   
7. Is your life out of control?

The rule of thumb is, "If you have been thinking about seeing a counselor, you more than likely need to see one."
