GLOBAL MISSIONS

Proclaiming the Good News

"Sing to the Lord, all the earth; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day, Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples.” I Chronicles 16:23-24

In David’s song of thanksgiving, he shouted, “Sing to the Lord, all the earth; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day…” (Psalm 96:1-2) Our supreme motive for sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with people from every culture is to bring to Almighty God the GLORY that He alone deserves! John Piper rightly declared, “The goal of missions is the gladness of the peoples in the greatness of God.” It is our prayer that God will continually challenge our hearts to join Him in proclaiming His matchless name to the nations!

In Support of Missionaries

West Park currently provides support to over fifty missionaries serving throughout the country and around the world. What kind of support?

  • Prayer – We provide a monthly Missionary Prayer Focus brochure that lists current prayer requests and praises from our missionaries.
  • Financial – God has continually provided financially so we are able to in turn give financial support to more than fifty missionaries.
  • Missionary Directory – As a way to help our church family get to know our missionaries, we have a directory with personal and ministry information about each missionary family.

"I will place no value on anything that I have or possess except in relation to the Kingdom of Christ. If anything I have will advance that Kingdom, it shall be given or kept, whichever will best promote the glory of Him to whom I owe all my hopes, both for times and eternity."
