SINGLE MINISTRIES

Making an Impact for Eternity

Singles are incredibly busy people! But in spite of all the activity, taking time to establish meaningful relationships is still important. Through our Big Group Gatherings, Small Group Connections, regular happenings and special events, we are working to provide avenues for developing and deepening not only your friendships with other singles, but also your relationship with Jesus Christ. If you are contemplating how to merge your single, social, and spiritual lives, consider our West Park Single Life Ministry.

Our Mission:

We exist to glorify God by connecting singles to Christ and one another, helping them grow in their faith and equipping them to serve the Lord with their lives.

CONNECT Relationally (Heb 10:25-25; Acts 2:42-47)
GROW Spiritually (Eph 6:10-11; Col 3:16)
SERVE Compassionately (Mark 10:45; Eph 2:10)

The “church search” is rarely simple. Sometimes it is easier to experience a worship service before exploring the single life of a church; sometimes the reverse is true. Whatever entry point you choose, an overview of Single Life Sunday happenings will be useful to you.

Sunday Happenings…

Worship

Sunday mornings at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 am with our church family in the auditorium on site. Most of our singles attend one of the two earlier services.

Thrive

11:00 am - (Downstairs Fellowship Hall-DHF) - The goal of this Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF) time is to grow spiritually through special times of prayer, fellowship and teaching in a relaxed, simple atmosphere. This large group gathering is also a time where we celebrate with one another through testimony as well as to give us an opportunity to facilitate the information about activities and Singles Community Groups.

Rebuilders

9:30 am - (Room 405)- An Adult Bible Fellowship designed for recently divorced singles of all ages.

Beyond Sunday....

We understand that developing personal and spiritual relationships requires more than an hour or two on a given Sunday. Seasonal events as well as community service projects are also in the mix and, of course, spontaneous fun is frequently in the making.

Small Group Connections

Specifically designed for those interested in a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, our weekly Small Groups are led by our own singles and held in their homes. Small Groups meet on a variety of weeknights and provide tremendous opportunities to study the Bible, pray, experience accountability and forge long-lasting friendships. Group participants are asked to sign a covenant and make an investment of time and energy to their fellow group members. While more is expected from this involvement, the return is incredibly worthwhile.
