2021 Backpack Outreach - Backpacks due Sunday!
Don't forget that this Sunday is the final day to turn in filled backpacks. These backpacks will provide basic school supplies and will be distributed to children and teens in our surrounding community through our Bread of Life Food Pantry and CedarBrook Outreach. Filled backpacks can be dropped off in the Welcome Center Sunday, August 1, from 9:00am-noon.
Communion Service this Sunday, August 1
On Sunday, August 1, we will close our services with the observance of the Lord's Supper. Prior to the service, please pick up your own elements in the Welcome Center or Front Lobby. Begin now to prepare your heart to participate in this sacred time.

Sunday Morning Schedule
On Sunday mornings, two live services are held: one in the auditorium, and one in The Hub. Both services are at 10:30am. For the time being, no classes or groups will meet on Sunday mornings. There are programs for nursery through elementary age groups during the 10:30am services.

Kids Ministry Family Pancake Breakfast/Open House
We are excited in Kids Ministry for this upcoming school year! We have a lot going on! Every Sunday, we have teachers in place to serve your children and help them learn more about Jesus and how to live for Him. At our August 8 breakfast, you will learn more about how Kids Ministry wants to partner with you as a family, and you will have the opportunity to meet your new Sunday School teachers. If you have a child in Kids Ministry, your whole family is invited to come have breakfast and fellowship with us.

DivorceCare is a 14-week, Christ-centered, video-based ministry designed to reach and help people who have known the loneliness, loss of hope, bitterness and anger, feelings of rejection and shame, fears of the future, and the daily exhaustion that comes from divorce.

Time: 6:30-8:00pm
Cost: $20 (manual/workbook)

While there is only one DivorceCare class, there will be two groups: in-person and online. Both groups will meet at the same time. Register for one group only.
Equipping Classes
West Park Equipping Classes start August 15! Seven Tracks are offered:
  • Family Track - Focuses on leading your family
  • Engaging the World Track - Equips you to share your faith with non-Christians
  • Basics Track - Focuses on basics of the Christian life
  • Connect Track - Helps connect you to community and ministry at West Park
  • Theology Track - Focuses on Christian beliefs
  • Bible Overview Track - Explores the story of the bible at 30,000 feet
  • Spiritual Growth and Change Track - Equips you to counsel others and point them to hope

Classes will meet at 9:15am on Sunday mornings. By registering for a track, you'll help us prepare. You can change tracks at any time once classes begin. Register here
Parents Day Out - New Baby Room Opening
Parents Day Out is taking registrations for our new Baby Room. This new option is for children 3 months-1 year of age.

Parents Day Out is looking for substitute teachers for the Fall semester. Hours are 9:00-1:30am. This is a paid position. Contact if interested.

RENEWAL is a ministry for those struggling with bondage to addiction of any kind. This ministry meets on Mondays at 6:00pm in The Hub.

ESL - Teach English, Make Friends!
The nations are at our doorstep! In our CedarBrook neighborhood, we have over 30 different nationalities represented. There's no greater way to reach the nations than by speaking the same language. Do you have a passion for prayer?
The Prayer Leadership Team is looking to identify West Park members with a passion for prayer, who desire to lift up the needs shared in Upper Room emails, and/or would be willing to pray during services in the Boiler Room Ministry. To get involved or for more information, email
Medical Team
Attention physicians, nurses, EMS personnel or first responders! We are in need of volunteers to minister through the West Park Medical Team. If you are active or retired in any medical field and know CPR and AED procedures, we need you! Team members serve one Sunday a month or less depending on the size of the team. Renewal Ministry
Renewal Ministry is looking for individuals who would be willing to work one-on-one with people struggling with addiction. Training is provided.

There is also a need for childcare during Renewal meetings. Some people are unable to attend these meetings due to lack of childcare.
