RENEWAL Ministry Volunteer Opportunity
RENEWAL is a ministry that helps believers deal with enslaving sin habits. These habits span a wide range of issues, including addictions, mood disorders, lack of self-control and other behaviors that are dishonoring to God and crippling for them.  Renewal provides a faith-based approach that enables believers to proactively deal with these struggles and experience true, and lasting freedom.

RENEWAL needs your help. In order to build the support network required to effectively minister to every person participating in Renewal, three (3) additional individuals are needed to support the ministry. If you have a heart to help those who are struggling, we need you to consider joining the Renewal Team. Training is provided to equip you to serve, regardless of your background. What is required is a heart that is full of love and desire to walk with a great group of people who just need a helping hand. Please contact Scott Williams (865) 334-4870 for additional information.
West Park's Blog Highlights
Our new series, Abide, focuses on practical applications from each fruit of the Spirit for interacting with one another.
Do you have a passion for prayer?
The Prayer Leadership Team is looking to identify West Park members with a passion for prayer, who desire to lift up the needs shared in Upper Room emails, and/or would be willing to pray during services in the Boiler Room Ministry. To get involved or for more information, email letusknow@westparkbaptist.org
The Vaccine for Fear
These are certainly times of great fear throughout our world. Both for followers of Jesus and for those who don’t yet know Him anxieties can feel overwhelming. Yet the solution for a virus like fear is the same for us all.

Recently Pastor Sam Polson preached a message about a time when King David was overwhelmed by fear. Pastor called that message “The Vaccine for Fear.” This message cuts through the many opinions, well-wishes and mixed messages to give a clear answer for where to find true and lasting Hope during these days of fear.

Please take time to listen to this message yourself again or for the first time. Feel free to share this link with several friends and contacts so they too can benefit from “The Vaccine for Fear.”

Financial Encouragement
West Park recognizes that many are facing unusual economic challenges at this time. In response to these financial difficulties, we are offering three opportunities for people to participate in personal finance education and discipleship.

Summer Reading Program
This summer is CedarBrook Outreach’s Summer Reading & Feeding Program is in need of volunteers!!
Summer Reading & Feeding is an 8-week program that allows our community to get to know, encourage, share the Gospel, and help gain or retain reading levels with the at-risk children in local government housing complexes! This program also allows us to feed meals to these at-risk children who lose meals over the summer due to school cafeteria’s being closed.

Volunteering is simple! Volunteer time slots are 11:45am-1:00pm, Monday through Wednesday. Volunteers can choose one of these time slots or choose to volunteer on a regular basis.

If you would like to share the gospel with our at-risk children, you can sign-up HERE.

* DISCLAIMER: We will be having all volunteers practice all state guidelines in response to COVID-19.

CedarBrook Outreach is actively meeting the needs of our community during this time of crisis. For updates on what they are doing and ways to be involved, visit their Facebook page.
